I've got a lot to catch up blogging about. We took a big road trip and I've been asked to post pictures. I never posted the first day of school and then of course there's Halloween. We've been busy, but I'm not sure what we've been doing. I know we've been working on the house so that we can try to get it on the market. But it seems like the more work we do, the more things fall apart making our pre-sale to do list longer and longer, and really discouraging me in the process. Maybe we're supposed to stay for a while.
The boys are loving this school year. So many of the issues we were having last year have completely dissappeared. They are happier, I'm happier and life is good.
Life at home with the littles has gone back to normal. Andrew has let Frozen go in exchange for Frozen Fever. So now that obnoxious song is forever running through my head. But I've decided to embrace it. I bought the piano music and play it while he sings and dances around the living room. Caroline will play with anything and everything, but her favorite thing to do is sit in our chairs. She'll bring a book or a toy and just sit there so proud of herself.
Charlie just finished reading the last Harry Potter book, so we've been watching the movies. I own all of them except the Deathly Hallows part 2. I never really wanted to buy it because I was so mad about how they ruined the ending. But now I realize that I want to have the full set. Evidently no one carries it by itself anymore. Or if they do, they are charging an arm and a leg for it. I found a DVD combo of parts 1 and 2. So if anyone wants my old copy of part 1, it's yours. In fact I have two extras. Don't ask.
Peter and I have been reading Frog and Toad together. He's a little behind on his reading skills, but he'll catch up. I think that really he just loses interest. It's tough to find books at his level that keep him engaged. Any ideas?
Okay, now I'm just rambling. I'll stop here. Next up, our California road trip.
