James ❤ Janine

 My dad got married last month. He's been alone for a LONG time. I am so incredibly happy for him!

Some things I want to remember about the day:

Tying rosettes on all the chairs with my cousins
Jimmy officiating
Getting to know Janine's sisters at the rehearsal dinner
Squish's comments about the "guy in the big white skirt." He thought that was so cool!
Squish being worried that the horse was going to step on the cake (there weren't even any horses)
Mike trying to convince Charlie and Peter to ask a girl to dance
Charlie taking my camera around to take pictures for a scout requirement
Peter and Charlie drinking lots of root beer so we could use the cans to decorate the car
Trying desperately not to cry
Writing a toast with my brother, during the reception
My dad's face when he first saw his bride
Meeting the whole family, aunts, cousins, uncles, new step-family, and Dad and Janine, in the lobby of the hotel for breakfast the next morning before we all headed off our separate ways.

March was a crazy one, and as we head into baseball and soccer seasons, I don't see life getting any less crazy. But at least we're having fun along the way!
