Things I don't want to forget about 2015

Making a full list would take a lot more time than I have, but here are some of the day-to-day things that I haven't mentioned here on the blog, that I need to be remembered.

These boys' discovery of Art for Kids videos (click here if you want to discover them too). They still love to get out my computer and draw when ever they can. Just yesterday they were drawing Kylo Ren and BB8 off this guy's videos.

Hanging out at the donut shop that Mike's sister and her husband run. We had a pizza party there after closing one night. It was such a fun visit.

Charlie's 2nd place Pinewood Derby win, especially after coming in dead last the year before.

My mom's 60th birthday, and sneaking over there at 6 in the morning with Charlie and Peter to set these flamingos up.

Halloween. This year was a kids pick their own costumes year, but we made it work into two themes. Next year, we're doing family costumes and I'm stinkin' excited about it.

Putting Caroline in this dress that I wore, and my mother wore. And her obsession with shoes. She picks out shoes every morning. She brings them to me and plops down in front of me saying, "Shoes, shoes, shoes." And nodding until I put them on her.

That time Andrew decided to copy some music for me to play, and insisted that I play, "Making Today a Perfect Day" from it.

Taking my kids ice skating at the Gallivan Center, and having Mom and a sick but happy Ron there to help.

A Day at LegoLand

The boys LOVED this place. For me it was just okay. A lot of the rides were just for the kids to go on. Parents had to watch from the sidelines. But we did spend a couple of hours at the waterpark and it was  AMAZING. Sadly, I didn't get a single picture of that part. We got to go to their Halloween party as well. It was definitely fun, but nothing like Disneyland's version.

One last hurrah at Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast before starting the long drive home.
