I wish I was a little bit taller; I wish I was a baller
Charlie is playing on a basketball team. He didn't start out loving it, but it's growing on him. He's the type of kid who has to know and follow the rules. It makes him really nervous when he doesn't know the rules. They didn't hold the first practice until after the first two games and he was almost beside himself with stress about the whole thing. But he's got it all figured out now.
He knows how to dribble.
He knows how to block . . . maybe a little too well. It drives the other kids crazy.
He knows how to shoot. This one didn't quite make it in.
This one did though. And he was so stinkin' proud of himself.

In the last month . . .
...we've spent a LOT of time reading. You should hear Peter read Pete the Cat or Charlie read the "Jack and Annie" books (The Magic Treehouse series). I love that they like to read. And I love these new lights we got for Christmas from Grandpa E.
In the last month, we've had two snow days. So I let the boys go through my "playtime" pinterest board and pick a few things. I didn't take any pictures of all the lego creations we made or of the water bottle paintings on the snow, but these two were pretty fun. And I loved seeing Squish pick up the crayons and start coloring right along with us.
In the last month, we made the coolest valentines. And for the first time, Charlie had to write all the names of his classmates. He made sure all his favorite friends got their favorite colors.
In the last month, Squish has learned to climb . . . on EVERYTHING. He like to get up on the kitchen chairs after the older boys have gone off to school and finish anything they left there from breakfast.
In the last month, I tried to take cute pictures of my three little boys. It didn't work out quite as planned, so I didn't even bother with editing (I rarely do anymore) but I still love them.
Also in the last month, we had basketball and Charlie's birthday, but I'm going to save that for another day. Peter wants me to come play Mario and Sonic with him. ;)
