Where did the summer go? I honestly have no idea how it went by so fast. And it definitely ended with a bang. We're having some major car issues. Joy of joys. But it's good to have school as a distraction.
Peter was so stinkin' excited to start kindergarten. He has absolutely no fear. I have been nervous about his attention span and his ability to listen to his teacher. I guess we'll see how it goes.
Charlie is loving second grade so far. I think we're really going to like his teacher. He really didn't want to go back to school, but he's been all smiles since starting. His only complaint has been that he didn't have enough time to eat lunch.
This picture was actually taken the second day. The first day was open house style, so this was actually the first day that I left him there. It was easier this time than it was two years ago with Charlie, but I still didn't get away without crying.
They were so excited to see each other after school that first day . . . but the fighting started the minute we got in the car. By the time we got home, Charlie was crying and Peter had a bloody nose. I'm choosing to remember these next pictures instead.
