It's been an outdoor sort of month so far. The weather has been great at least until the last week. We had some fantastic rainstorms yesterday that made me so happy. The kids have been playing outside a lot. And little Caroline loves to wander the backyard picking up every little stick and stone and carrying them around in her tiny fists. She's not walking yet, but she's a crawling pro. 

My mom had a birthday, and the boys and I "flocked" her lawn. They just giggled and giggled getting it set up! I loved it, and Mom loved it. 

We've been crazy busy with baseball season. I LOVE that my kids play baseball, but I don't love the schedule. This year, Charlie's games started in April and Peter's don't start until June. So at least we don't have to split up the family to make it to all the games yet. We have a number of friends who do and it's like looking 4 years into our future. 

My kids still have three weeks of school left. They are so jealous of cousins and aunts who are getting done now. At least they have the Fun Run (NEVER sign up to help the PTO with the Fun Run!) and field day to look forward to before it's all over. I'm excited for the lazy days of summer. Maybe even more excited than they are.
