The boys have both started baseball practice. It's going to be a fun season. And this year, their games will be on the same days! Which means two days a week at the fields instead of four. Woo hoo!
I'm in charge of the school Fun Run again and it is this Friday. There seems to be a lot less stress involved this year than there was last year, which can mean two things. Either I learned a lot the first time and I've got this down, or I'm forgetting something major and the whole thing will flop. But no matter what, by next weekend it will be over and prizes will be handed out and I never have to do it again.
My birthday came and went without too much hype. We've all been sick over the last week, so other than dinner and cheesecake we didn't do much. But I think I'm okay with that. I even got to order my own presents so I know I got exactly what I wanted. I did get a few fun surprises in the mail though. I LOVE fun mail. ;)
There has been a lot of hype over "Let it Go" lately. People talking about it on facebook, making parodies, arguing over the true meaning... Well I'm just here to say that my boys (Mike included) have discovered what it's really all about. With just a few subtle word substitutions, they can make the whole song about passing gas. You're welcome world.
AJ is obsessed with making 'o's. He's been watching Sesame Street Learning about Letters and playing Letter School on my ipod. So whenever he can find a marker (because what is the fun of crayons?) he is drawing 'o's all over the place. I wish I could say it was always on paper, but most of the time it is on whatever he can find, including himself. It's a good thing he likes baths.
I let Charlie and Peter pick out their own new shirts and ties for Easter. I wonder if I will ever do that again...
Mike and I went on a little getaway. We saw an Wicked, went to the Cheesecake Factory and did a little shopping. It's been a while since we spent much time just the two of us. I'm so grateful to my mom who stayed at my house with the boys. I hope she wasn't lying when she said they were good.
Oh and I almost forgot! In the last six weeks, Charlie and Peter have each lost their first and second teeth. They look like little jack-o-lanterns and are just so proud of themselves.
