Nothing Really

It's October and that means my favorite holiday. I made a deal with my kids that if we could have matching costumes at least every other year, they could choose their costumes in between. So because we did How To Train Your Dragon last year, it looks like I'll be making Batman and Luke Skywalker Superman Halloween Town Sora costumes this year. Charlie has had a bit of trouble making a decision. But the real problem is that I haven't started them yet. I don't know what happened to this month. I think I'm going to make Squish a Robin costume to match Peter, and maybe Mike and I will do something from the Nightmare Before Christmas to match Charlie. Wow I have a lot to get done.

Speaking of Squish, he's decided that he's just one of the big boys. He tries to sleep in their beds and watch their same movies. He is desperate to get out on the soccer field and play too. He misses them when they are at school and loves to come to the bus stop to pick them up. He even yells their names the minute the bus comes into view. He is talking so well and growing up way too fast.

We had our primary program today. I cried. And I'm the chorister so it wasn't pretty, although I tried really hard to not let anyone know. We just had the best song list this year and I couldn't help it. But the kids did an amazing job. I'm so proud of every single one of them.

We got a new bishopric last weekend! I was so excited ... but then he got called back ... under a new bishop ... to the same position, 2nd counselor. Oh well. At least I know we've got this. And I can tell this new bishopric is going to have fun together. Here's a picture of the ones that got released. They are an amazing group of men. I know change is good, but they will definitely be missed.

Well I guess that's it for the time being. I hope you are all having an amazing Fall!

How sad is it that when Miley watched that video she asked if they were throwing wood chips? ;) We need more trees down here I guess. Stop catching up your blog (though I appreciate it) and get to work on your costumes!
