Summer is taking a lot out of me. Not that I'm complaining. I actually love it. I love our lazy mornings and our morning summer school routine (which is getting more and more laxed as the summer goes on). I've had so much fun checking things off our "summer bucket list" that we made. So far we've checked off getting snow cones, building a sandcastle, a sleepover at grandma's, a night walk with flashlights, swimming at a lake, going to the splash park, golfing, roasting s'mores with a variety of candy bars, and going on a day hike. We still have a few things to do before the summer is over, but here are some pictures of our one day excursion. I had no idea that this place was so close to us!

I love that place. My fam visited it all through my childhood, way before they put in the security railings. So beautiful!
