It's a bird! It's a plane!

While talking about going shopping for school clothes, Charlie said, "Mom I just want a superman shirt so the other kids will see and say, 'Well . . . look at that kid. He's superman.'"

Kindergarten starts tomorrow! As in twelve hours from now we will be getting in the car and heading out the door. I'm grateful for two things. Number one, I get to go with him the first day. It's an open house format and I get to stay. Number two, they don't start bussing kindergarteners until next week. That means I have a whole week to find another kid on the street who will keep an eye on Charlie for me. I'm a little freaked out about the whole bus thing anyway, so having a week to get used to having him gone before I have to put him on a bus with all those big kids . . . well let's just say it's very good for me. Charlie on the other hand couldn't be more excited. He's ALWAYS wanted to ride a school bus.
