- I've always wanted to do something like this in the yard. Someday. ;) It's totally the way I feel about winter right now. I need a vacation. And one that is actually warm.
- I've become one of "those" moms. The ones I used to complain about, but now I totally understand.
- I think the people who refuse to read a good book because they don't want to "give into the hype" are ridiculous. It's like saying, "I keep hearing that this restaurant is to die for, but I don't want to go" or "I know everyone says Hawaii is a great vacation spot, but I'll never go there because I don't want to give in."
- I miss my brother. Yes he's obnoxious and goes out of his way to drive me crazy, but that's the nature of the brother/sister relationship. I miss him . . . and his cute family.
- Mike has a good friend who was just arrested for murdering two people. I guess they haven't proved him guilty, but if it turns out that he did actually do it, should Mike go visit him in prison? We're praying that it's all a big mistake, but it really doesn't look good.
- I never did post pictures of my office makeover, but it's gotten so messy that now I don't dare. Putting it on my to do list . . .
- This year I've decided to cope with my winter blues by starting my Spring cleaning early. So far I've just made a list, but I feel better.
- Charlie had his 4 year doctor's appointment this week. He entertained the doctor and his medical student the entire time: talking, dancing, making faces . . .
- Mike is turning 30 next week. Then I'll be turning 30 in May. So strange, but neither one of us is really bothered by the idea.
- I use " . . . " too often.

Oh Kirsten, I love this post! I am lucky to have such a wonderful sister-in-law!!!!!
I have always loved Calvin's snowmen.
I am missing you today more than ever. I wish we lived next door so we could get through these Winter blahs together. The early Spring cleaning is a great idea! I think I'll do that, too.
I was excited to turn 30. It's an accomplishment, and I think it was better by the fact that I feel really good about where I am at at this point in my life. You probably feel the same way...
By the way...
You can never use too many...
It's such a great punctutation. It implies that your thought it not complete or limited to the one sentence, or has yet to be finished or implies mental elaboration.
At least to me it does...
Love your random thoughts! Mine lately is "why do kids just have a natural instinct to always do the opposite of what you ask?" even at such a yound age? Anyway, I'm sorry you have the winter blues - things are getting warm here :)
I just turned 30 and don't feel old at all! Isn't it crazy how you change your perspective?! Happy birthday Mike! The picture of the day is sooooooooooo cute!
