Last year, we bought some bunk beds that could be used like two regular twin beds until the boys are old enough to handle the "bunk" part. Charlie's been sleeping in his, but Peter has still been in his crib. In December he figured out how to climb out of the crib and it's been nothing but trouble. He was getting up multiple times in the night just to come say hi to us. He'd cuddle up next to me and stick his fingers in my nose and ears until I'd wake up enough to put him back in his crib and shut his door and then he'd scream and scream until Charlie woke up and we'd have to move Charlie to a different room while we got Peter back to sleep. I swear it's like playing "musical beds" all night long. I guess we could have split them into separate rooms, but I'm not quite willing to give up the office/craft room yet. This weekend we finally set up the second bed for Peter. He LOVES it. He goes into his room throughout the day just to sit and hang out on his new bed. He's still getting up in the night, but he doesn't mind being put back in his bed quite so much. He's so sweet about it that it almost makes me forget about all the things he does to drive me crazy. We're definitely headed into the "terrible twos," but he's so much fun when he wants to be.

He's such a big kid! I can't believe they're both growing up that fast. They're going to have a blast on the bunkbeds.
What a fun transition!!! Beware the transition to a bunk bed. We ended up in the emergency room with Malia and several staples in the head. Not fun!
Congrats on the big boy beds! It's crazy to me he is old enough for it. :)
