Although he jabbers constantly just like Charlie always did, there are four words that are distinctly recognizable.He started his vocabulary with the word, "yes." It was his answer any time we asked a question.
His next word was "up" because we got sick and tired of him holding our legs and screaming.
We live quite close to the airport. We sometimes watch planes take off from the neighborhood park. It was no surprise when "airplane" could be recognized coming from his lips as he smiled pointing at the plane.
Yesterday we got his latest word. Pointing at Mike sitting on the stand at church, we got a loud and definite, "da da." It made Mike blush . . . and made my day.

Those are some great first words. The picture of the boys on the steps is so darling! What little heart throbs!
