I'll admit, I've been a little down lately. The biting cold does that to me. I need to move somewhere that has Spring for five months, a month of Summer, Fall for five months and then a month of Winter. If anyone knows a place like that please tell me where it is. But today was a good day. The snow started melting (the snow in the picture used to be our snowman) and it made me think of Spring. I know it won't last, but today it felt good. I played with the kids . . . nothing special, just hanging out. Their naps overlapped and I got on the internet and watched my cousin on last night's episode of The Real World Brooklyn on the internet. I never really got into the show before, but knowing someone on it makes it a whole new kind of entertaining. I actually laughed my head off. Mike got home and we ate dinner together. Now as I'm writing this, I'm listening to Charlie read a book in his bed. It's completely dark in there, but I can tell he's reading about Mater and the Ghostlight. He's telling the story very well in his limited vocabulary. Peter's asleep, although he'll probably be up again in about five hours.
Still . . . life is good.

Thanks for posting that, Kirsten. I know what you mean. I get the winter "blahs" too. But tonight Rich and I read all the jokes in the Reader's Digest together and it reminded me, too...life is good.
