Making a full list would take a lot more time than I have, but here are some of the day-to-day things that I haven't mentioned here on the blog, that I need to be remembered.
| These boys' discovery of Art for Kids videos (click here if you want to discover them too). They still love to get out my computer and draw when ever they can. Just yesterday they were drawing Kylo Ren and BB8 off this guy's videos. |
| Hanging out at the donut shop that Mike's sister and her husband run. We had a pizza party there after closing one night. It was such a fun visit. |
| Charlie's 2nd place Pinewood Derby win, especially after coming in dead last the year before. |
| This moment |
| My mom's 60th birthday, and sneaking over there at 6 in the morning with Charlie and Peter to set these flamingos up. |
| This girl's laugh while crawling back and forth through this tunnel |
| Mike replacing the front door all my himself |
| The boys' excitement when giving Mike this shirt, although he hasn't worn it since. |
| Watching Charlie pitch, for better or worse |
| Peter's cute pitching machine team, and trying to help coach with a three-year-old and a one-year-old. Yeah. That didn't work. |
| This perfect version of "Kids" |
| My little fish, getting into the pool at every single chance all summer long |
| The mess the kids make when helping entertain Caroline |
| Their excitement to have a lemonade stand, and making about 50 cents |
| Her first ice-cream cone |
| Family light saber duels |
| Caramel apple fun |
| Her face when figuring out how to play the kazoo, and she actually did figure it out, and played all night long... well until it broke anyway. |
| Halloween. This year was a kids pick their own costumes year, but we made it work into two themes. Next year, we're doing family costumes and I'm stinkin' excited about it. |
| The first snow, and making snowballs too big to stack on top of each other to build a snowman |
| Thanksgiving at Mike's parents house |
| Working on homemade Christmas cards. Maybe I'll still send them... |
| That one time when everyone was happy at the same time |
| Christmas Eve (and the poor man's game) at Grandma's house. |
| Charlie's Hamburger appetizers |
| Andrew's obsession with making cakes, or you know, just throwing ingredients into a pan and sticking it in the oven when I'm not looking. |
| The grandkids lining up to give Grandma her birthday presents. (Aub! Aub! Aub!) |
| Putting Caroline in this dress that I wore, and my mother wore. And her obsession with shoes. She picks out shoes every morning. She brings them to me and plops down in front of me saying, "Shoes, shoes, shoes." And nodding until I put them on her. |
| That time Andrew decided to copy some music for me to play, and insisted that I play, "Making Today a Perfect Day" from it. |
| Taking my kids ice skating at the Gallivan Center, and having Mom and a sick but happy Ron there to help. |
| Another ice skating picture |
| Charlie's creation being featured on WonderBox. His is the bottom right cupcake. |
| Taking the kids to see the lights at temple square for the first time since Charlie was a baby. Love these obnoxious kidlets of mine. |
