In honor of his second birthday last week, here are 20 random things about our little Squish
1. Yes, he actually goes by Squish, but he answers to Andrew and AJ as well. I didn't mean for the Squish thing to stick, but it has. And when Super Why stares at the tv screen and says, "And you, say your name," Andrew calls out, "Quish!"
2. He loves to have his picture taken. He'll bring me the camera at all times of day and beg me to take his picture. He then proceeds to make all sorts of crazy smiling faces and wants to see them all on the screen before I can be done.
3. He copies everything Peter does. To a lesser extent he'll copy Charlie, but he's kind of a mini-Peter most of the time.
4. He's already started with the "Why?" question . . . all the time . . . and he makes me give an answer.
5. He's learning his letters and loves to play Letter School or Endless Alphabet on my ipod.
6. He has opinions about his clothes and which pajamas he'll wear. It's obnoxious really.
7. He has to say goodnight and give kisses to everyone in the house before he'll go to bed.
8. He's the mean kid in nursery. I haven't seen it with my own eyes, but Mike says he knocks kids down.
9. He loves books. Especially ones where he gets to make animal noises. Thank you Sandra Boynton.
10. He sings songs with us at bed time, whether he knows the words or not. He also sings with the congregation at church. And he loves to join me at the piano and asks for more songs every time I quit playing.
11. He loves milk. None of my other boys (Mike included) will drink it unless it's full of nesquick, but Squish asks for it all the time.
12. During Christmas season, he had to have the curtains on his window open so that he could see the Christmas lights as he went to sleep.
13. He has to go back to say goodbye to the bathtub and his bath toys when he's done taking a bath.
14. He's very good at saying please and thank you.
15. He loves to climb up onto Charlie's bunk bed and then yell for me to come get him down. Then he hangs his legs over the side and scares me to death when I come into the room.
16. He loves his grandparents, and asks to go to their houses several times a day.
17. He has two cowlicks on the back of his head that drive me crazy. Thus the buzz cut. I was sick and tired of the "Alfalfa" look.
18. He opens the door wide and yells goodbye to Peter and Charlie as the bus goes by in the morning, no matter how cold it is.
19. He loves to color, but doesn't like coloring books. He prefers a blank piece of paper . . . or any other blank space- walls, tables . . .
20. He's so sweet when he's being sweet. I mean, he's definitely a terrible two year old- and in to EVERYTHING! But he makes up for it by climbing onto my lap with a blanket and a book and looking up at me with those big blue eyes and his mischievous smile. I guess that's why toddlers survive to adulthood.

Yay, a milk drinker! And I loved the saying goodbye to the bathtub, awesome! Fun list. Happy Belated birthday little guy! Have you seen Monster's University? Cause now when you say Squish I can only think Squishy and now he must be him for Halloween. ;)
