I got to see my nieces and nephew from my side of the family yesterday. My kids love it when they come. They played so well for the most part, and then things got a little rowdy and everyone ended up crying. It's funny how quickly that can happen. And then it's amazing how quickly they were suddenly up in the boy's bunk bed, four of them, two on each side just like Charlie Bucket's grandparents, giggling and reading books together.
Construction started on Mike's big project this week. They flattened out a big part of a field to make way for the trucks. They're laying the pipe that goes under the road and creating big piles of dirt. I think next week they'll be demolishing some old storage units. It's so exciting to see it coming together!
Mike mowed our brand new, just seeded last month grass yesterday. Peter insisted on helping and mowed right along side him the whole time. I can't wait for the grass to fill in so I can have my yard back!
Mike and I performed a piano duet in the ward talent show. It was definitely a fun thing to do together. I went to upload my video this weekend to send to the in-laws and my camcorder said the DVD was empty. But at the same time it said there were only 13 minutes of recording time left. Hmmm. Does anyone know if there is a way to recover corrupted data on a DVDR?
