The snow is gone again. It was kind of fun having a quick couple of snow days, but I'm glad the temperature is back up into the 50s and 60s. I learned a couple of things though. #1- I'm going to have to invest in carrots. These boys were making snowmen nonstop.#2- I need to find some hats that we don't care about because every snowman needed a hat. #3- Our furnace is leaking carbon monoxide. Luckily we have an alarm in the basement and were able to discover it quickly. And luckily it wasn't in the dead of winter when we would be freezing to death waiting for someone to be able to come out and look at it. Unfortunately the furnace is 25 years old and not worth fixing. It needs to be replaced. That's what we get for buying an old house I guess.
So I'm grateful for our two days of snow. It just needs to stay warmer through Halloween. Trick-or-treating is no fun in the freezing cold.
