New Modem

We have a 50 year old house.  Most of the time we hardly notice it, but then there is the electrical system.  Most of the outlets don't have a ground.  And we have an actual old fashioned fusebox, replaceable fuses and all.

It's a long story (and a boring one) but last week we accidentally fried both our modem and our printer.  And have to buy new ones.  The modem we ordered right away because I knew how much I would miss my internet world.  But at the same time it was amazing how productive I became while not having the internet.  I completely swapped the boys' room to the office and packed up most of my craft supplies.  I just don't have the time or space to keeping them out all the time.

But that's beside the point.  My point is we have a new modem and I can finally catch up on Christmas.  I don't really want to revisit all my Christmas photos yet, but I will.  Not that I didn't LOVE this Christmas, it's just that I'm in full on new year, out with the old in with the new, declutter my life mode.  It's going to be a good year.  I can tell.
