- a sick little boy who just wanted to cuddle
- another little boy who loves doing puzzles, even ones that are way too hard for him
- paint, glittler, glue and air dry clay
- wonderful friends who are willing to save you when your car breaks down
- a bike and bike trailer so we're not stuck at home when said car won't start again
- fun stuff to do within biking distance
- baseball games, and realizing that just because the kids won't sit through the whole thing, doesn't mean it's not totally worth it to go for the first half
- finding out that the local dairy is taking measures to reduce the smell and number of flies
- shasta daisies
- guest appearances on sesame street
- an empty laundry pile . . . even if it is only for a few hours
- playing plants and zombies while BOTH boys nap
- sending a package to my deployed brother
- the boys getting excited about sending stickers for a sticker club exchange
Now we'll see what the mechanic says about the car. Hopefully it won't negate all the happiness I'm feeling right now. Staying positive . . .
